The induction hob is a modern, efficient cooking surface that uses electromagnetic technology to heat pots and pans directly, rather than the hob itself. The low temperature settings can be used to hold the cooking zones at the programmed temperature for a period of two hours. If left untouched, all low temperature settings will automatically switch off after 2 hours to ensure safety. The two large cooking zones that make up the bridging-zone can be operated as one large cooking area suitable for a griddle or a large pan, or operated independently as two separate zones. The ‘P’ function provides maximum power instantly. Power Boost allows additional power to be made available for each of the cooking zones. This is useful to bring a large pan of water to the boil quickly.
