How deep does the hole in the wall need to be and does this also come with manual control incase the remote goes missing? Can you set timers on the remote to set the fire to come on automatically?

The minimum depth required for this fire is 300mm. This Gazco fire does not come with manual controls and must be used with the remote. The remote control has a 'Timer Mode' where you can set the time for the fire to turn on/off.
