Frequently Asked Questions
Is Marble a Good Choice for a Fireplace?
If you want to add a touch of style to your home with minimal maintenance, then a marble fireplace mantel or surround is a great option. Our marble mantels come in modern and classical styles with detail that will help create an incredible focal point you can be proud of.
Can I Use a Marble Surround with a Wood Burner?
We have two types of marble fireplaces for sale: micro marble and natural marble. The latter can be fitted with a wood-burning stove as it has high heat tolerance and can withstand the heat produced by a log burner.
Micro fireplaces are made from ground-up marble stone that is then mixed with resin. Whilst micro marble fireplaces are perfect for gas and electric fires, we don't recommend you fit one alongside a wood-burning stove.
Are White Marble Fireplaces Popular?
Marble fireplaces tend to come in neutral shades, the most common fireplace colours are grey, cream whites, or white stone. With vast neutral colour palette options, you'll find a marble fireplace that complements almost any home colour scheme. Marble fireplaces are also very affordable and accessible, so our range will cover lots of varying budgets.
